MMA MASTERS WINDSOR

Central Combat Sports is the Canadian home of team MMA MASTERS, which has produced some of the best fighters in the world. Most of our members, however, are ordinary people that are looking to get in great shape, make friends, and learn how to defend themselves.

In addition to unlimited classes, our adult membership includes a key to our facility. Our facility is available to our adult members from 5:00am to 10:00pm daily.

We also offer a 10-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your membership, you can cancel without penalty within the first 10 days.

YOUTH & ADULT CLASSES.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU. KICKBOXING. MIXED MARTIAL ARTS.

Our Youth Martial Arts classes focus on the arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling and Kickboxing. This program builds students with superior martial arts skills and rock solid self-confidence. These classes foster teamwork, critical thinking, self-control, and a strong work ethic. Classes emphasize self-defense, and are for mature students only. Kids ages 7-12. Teens ages 13-17.
YOUTH TRAINING | AGES 7-17
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling based art that focuses on takedowns, control positions, escapes and submission holds. BJJ can be practiced with or without the traditional uniform (Gi or Nogi). Classes are ideal for both beginners and more advanced students, and are designed to maximize learning in a safe and controlled environment.
ADULT TRAINING | AGES 16+
Our Kickboxing classes include a functional warm-up, technical instruction, partner drills, bag work, and optional sparring. Kickboxing incorporates punches, kicks, head movement and footwork, as well as knee and elbow strikes. Classes are practical for both beginners and advanced students, and are an exciting way to boost your overall health. Boxing gloves are required.
ADULT TRAINING | AGES 13+
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) combines striking and grappling techniques. Mixed Martial Artists are known for their technical versatility and superior athleticism. MMA classes include a functional warm-up, technical instruction, partner drills, bag work, and optional sparring. Some training sessions emphasize grappling, while others focus more on striking.
ADULT TRAINING | AGES 18+
Sparring is the application of learned skills against a resisting opponent. Sparring is not full-contact fighting. The goal of sparring is to build practical fighting skills, while minimizing injury. These sessions, however, involve a higher degree of intensity and contact than the regular classes, and are therefore more appropriate for advanced or competition-focused students. Sparring gear is required for all Kickboxing and MMA sparring sessions.

Our training center includes 2000 sq.ft. of mat space, heavy bags, and strength and conditioning equipment. Our facility is equipped with air filtration, climate control, Wifi, smart TVs, smart speakers, lounge seating, and private showers. Our facility is cleaned after every training session.

Coach Peter is the creator of Central Combat Sports and the man that established the sports of MMA and Submission Grappling in the Windsor-Essex region. Coach Peter is a Black Belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing and is the national representative of Daniel Valverde Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Coach Peter has worked with countless amateur and professional athletes, and has travelled across North America teaching seminars and workshops. Coach Peter also holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Development Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Windsor.

Coach Tyler is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and multiple tournament champion with over 16 years of experience. Tyler's technical ability and passion for Jiu-Jitsu is rooted in his understanding of physiology, biomechanics, and athletic development. Coach Tyler teaches our advanced classes. Coach Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics and Psychology from the University of Windsor.

Coach Megan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Professional Mixed Martial Artis with over 12 years of experience. Coach Megan's well-rounded skillset has made her one of Canada's Top 10 pound-for-pound female fighters. Coach Megan is also a certified Strength Coach and Athletic Yoga Instructor. Coach Megan has worked with a wide range of professional athletes including players from both the National Hockey League and the National Football League.

Coach Dominic is a Thai Boxer and Karate Black Belt with over 40 years of experience. Coach Dominic has competed in Thai Boxing, Full-Contact and Bare-Knuckle Karate, Boxing, and Wrestling. With notable championship wins at the Mas Oyama Gold Cup, and the World Sabaki Championships, Coach Dominic brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to our Kickboxing classes. When not in the gym, Coach Dominic works as a Professor of Engineering at St. Clair College.

Coach Manny is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 17 years of Martial Arts experience. Coach Manny is a multiple Jiu-Jitsu tournament medalist, with terrific wrestling and kickboxing ability. Coach Manny’s smart and patient coaching style has been a tremendous benefit to our youth and adult beginner students. Coach Manny teaches our BJJ Fundamentals class. Coach Manny holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor.

Coach Goran is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, national grappling champion and undefeated MMA competitor. At 6'4" and 230lbs, Coach Goran is an imposing figure on the mats, but his martial arts style is far more influenced by his intelligence and technical ability than his athleticism. Coach Goran also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor, as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University.
